carvedog
a pair of Superpipes I think they were called. First heel turn and the back cuff totally collapsed and I ended up on my assterisk. I wore a pair of these for three years as my 'soft' boots, with Elfgen tongues from their three part binding, in Nitro bindings. I was crushed when I had to give them up, but then I discovered hard boots and bindings and my life was complete again.

Big Daddy Walter
I know a few people that used them back in the day for both plate and soft. Id I remember correctly they were lime green and pink. The problem was the sole at the lug would compress and you would release. Not a good thing.
