yamifumi
Hello all, I am curious what are good mountains and/or runs for carving in Utah? I never been and I have been curious.

CB Utah
Just saw these notes. Ooops. One of the Utah guys in the forum really likes Powder Mountain. It looks awesome for free riding. Park City mountain, not the Canyons side, has great grooming in my opinion. While there are some fun runs such as Echo on the Canyons side, I personally believe the crowds are more challenging (lots of ski school traffic) and the grooming is iffy on that side. Snowbasin and Solitude seemed nice. Solitude has NASTAR, if you’re looking for that. Brighton is unique, has a huge percentage of snowboarders and one patroller who rides alpine. Sundance is super close to us, is small but kind of fun if you have limited time and are staying in Orem/Provo. Lots of other Utah riders can chime in with the other areas they like and why. When you travel out here, PM the Utah people directly and we’ll meet up if possible. Hope your summer was great.

UPZ North America
Jack M did a review of the Bird in this article below. I’ve never been there but people really like it.
