TLN
For sale is nice BX/Softcarving set up: SG Force Fat 165 and Salamon Malamute. I'm riding mostly alpine nowadays, only got 3-5 days on this board. Bit more on Malamutes, you can see some scratches from bindings. SG board specs: 165cm, 260mm waist, 14.5m sidecut. Malamutes: US11, EUR44, UK10 for 290mm. Located in Bay area, can bring it to Tahoe this weekend. Looking for $400 for board, $200 for boots. $50 to ship anywhere ConUS. Jianan
I bought the SG from @TLN. A word of caution for anyone buying his gear in the future, @TLN wasn’t upfront about a severe damage the board had sustained. What seems to be a blunt collision damage to an area of the board caused top sheet delamination as well as a very dull section of the edge. It was my fault that i didn’t catch this damage during the transaction. It took place in a dark parking lot in the evening, and i was too trusting. As the owner selling gears, it’s the ethical thing to do to disclose any damage the gear has sustained. @TLN I hope you’re more upfront about this type of things in the future with other buyers.
rjnakata
@Jianan Were you able to contact TLN to explain the issue?
Jianan
@rjnakata I texted @TLN on 3/19 the above posted picture as well as asking him for an explanation. I have not heard from him. It appears he is ignoring me.

TLN
Wanna follow up here from my end after people with pitchforks in my dm. @Jianan this looks like a significant damage to the board. I clearly didn't sell board damaged to that extent. Were you able to inspect the board thoroughly prior to purchase? It seems strange to me that you missed what looks like 4 inch crack in sidewall. You picked board on Mar 13, is there any reason you're reaching out Mar 19, full week after purchase? You never checked board next day during day light? I should have pictures of this board prior to sale on my phone, that I'll be able to post this weekend. Next question is for all other users of that forum: How long one to be expected to be liable for board and board conditions in face to face transaction? Say I picked one board last weekend and another board sometime in January. Can I still return boards if there's something wrong with it? Can I return board purchased last year?
