Anybody here had a surgery like hip or knee replacement that resulted in compensation disability payments?

From my conjoined tendon/ hamstring surgery  my Workers Comp claim specialist says my hamstring surgery and soon  to add ankle surgery are surgeries that will result in some limitation or disability and they are going to compensate me a lump sum based on those surgeries doled  out at $295 every week!!

Not sure I like the disability designation and didn't/don't expect much if any limitations from the surgeries after PT but here we are!!

Maybe it's just because this is a workers comp claim...........but anybody else here been compensated with/from/for your surgeries ...aka disability/limitation restitution???
