Contra advice wanted

Currently in dialog with Bruce for a new Contra.  Would like some additional inputs.

I'm ~155lbs, 5'6" and small 24MP boots.  I offered up ~165cm and ~19cm waist as starting point.

Bruce suggested:

"166 or 168 Contra x 19 x 10 or 10.5m.

The 166 has a slightly  softer mid than the 168 so despite being close in size, it is somewhat where the longer board design trend starts at the 168. Purposely done of course.

The 66 is easier to bend so less effort involved. The 68 needs a bit more ooomph but gives back a bit more rebound"

I am sure he'll adapt flex to my weight regardless of which length.  I am riding at a small local hill with short runs on the narrower side as I've got young kids.  But I look forward to using the board at bigger spots for sure.  I'm leaning towards the 168.  I'd probably appreciate the longer board design trend, presumably more stable at speed etc.   But the 166 probably more maneuverable?

Anyone here have either of these lengths and can share feedback?  Any other thoughts?

Edit - I should add that I've been on Burton's primarily.  Current go to boards are Ultra Prime 162 and 168.  I had Factory Prime 156 that was too stiff / turny.
