SOLD - 2019 Nobile Race GS 176 alpine snowboard - $300 including shipping

Selling this board after about 10 runs. Unfortunately it is top soft and light for me as a race board. It would make a fun GS freecarving board for wide open groomers, or a race board for an up-and-coming racer, i.e. a teen or young adult who wants GS board but is not ready for something with metal. Conditiob is 9.5/10 - only some plate rash on the topsheet and some superficial scratches on the base. Asking $300 including shipping anywhere in the lower 48. Currently going for €350 from Nobile + €79 for shipping to the US.

This board is a "medium" flex on Nobile’s flex scale (soft/medium/hard).

APS CORE TECHNOLOGY
APS Core technology The common patent used worldwide. In the process of forming board inside the press the innovative technology of pre-stress is used. During this process the fibres of wooden wedge are permanently stretched into wavy form, storing the energy within the board’s core. As a result, we get comfortable yet dynamic board with optimal rigidity, user-friendly and excellent edge grip, thanks to torsional resistance This technology allows us to use less materials, making the board lighter, compared to standard structures. In common snowboard construction Torsional Rigidity (Torsional Resistance) is directly connected to the board flex. In general, the more longitudinal flex the board features, the poorer the torsional performance is. More flex means better turning, easier control, better pop and more fun, but weak grip on ice or hard-pack conditions APS Core technology increases the Torsional Rigidity by 15 per cent and additionally increases the board flex by 35 per cent at the same time (compared to standard construction). Ah, yes. I will update the listing. This is a medium flex.

What is Noble’s or your recommendations on flex versus weight?  
medium for 170?

i ride Nobile SL medium Flex at 85kgs with plate on top. I have shed some kgs over summer so will see how the medium flex will work now.

176 GS is a race GS board for ladies - thus the softer flex and narrow waist at 19 cm.

Similar to SG Full Race 175 - 175 is softer then 170 SG FR, with less radius and less waist.

Potentially a Vist plate could make it a little more stiff.

most likely the reason why this is too soft for @weather_nerd
