I am making a prelim trip there in july.I would like to stay downtown since I will be apt hunting there.the days inn is the least $$ but has marginal reviews.is it that bad a place? any other suggestions for hotels / motels in that area that are in the lower $$ price range and safe,clean? P06781 Posted May 13, 2005 Report Share Posted May 13, 2005 I think there is a holiday inn express on the corner of vaugn st and nw 23rd thats pretty new (2 years old) Its in NW but you can catch the trolly up 23rd by good samaritan hospital and get over to portland state.
