Guest astan100
Hi guys, I'm just getting started and thinkiing about picking up some kind of All Mountain Board. The boards I listed in the title seem to be fairly highly recommended, so if you have one sitting in your quiver gathering dust, let me know the specs. I'm in NJ. At some point I'll need to figure out what I'm doing for boots/bindings, but I haven't put enough research into it yet. -Allen
Guest astan100
Oh, I'm semi flexible on the size, but a shorter board (168-174) would be ideal.

Guest astan100
It looks hot! Probably a little too new for me... How much are we talking on shipping to NJ? I've never shipped a board before. Just ballpark. I just realized that you're not the seller. Thanks for helping. That design isn't recent. Any thoughts on what year it is? Guest jeremiah
You can generally ship a board within the US for $25-30. That looks like a 2004 model, though I'm not positive. Jeremiah
Gtanner
The "Raven" topsheet is from the last year or two. I think that this board was sold from prior's website (demo board) recently. Either way it's a great deal, I suggest you watch it carefully. -Gord
Guest astan100
he was originally trying to sell it on here for 395. Sounded like a good deal. Now I bet it'll go for more...oh well. It's all about timing. Since I want to get some practice with higher angles before hopping on an alpine board, I don't mind waiting for the right deal/thing. bobdea
but I feel that the Burton factory primes 173,178 and 185 make incredible all mountain carvers they are somewhat soft, very forgiving and rather wide the 173 and 178 are 20 cm at the waist and the 185 is 19.5 cm and you can find them new dirt cheap around 150 to 200 at that price you can beat the hell out of them and not feel bad if you see a coiler AM snag it, even if it costs you those boards are amazing

Stainless
Well, looks like I've bought it - I've been agonizing over Axis vs 4x4 for some time now, I guess I've made a choice without having ever carved on either. Sorry, Astan100. My 160cm Incline with a dozen days on it, is now for sale though...
Guest astan100
Ha! I wish I knew that you were bidding on it. You could have just told me your max bid and I wouldn't have costed you the extra money. That would of course require too much trust on your part...but in any case, it's fine. I've been debating between all sorts of random boards too. I'm ok waiting until the end of the season I think. I have to learn how to REALLY carve on my freestyle board anyway. Tell me how you like it because I might be looking for a very similar one.
Stainless
Arrghh you bastard! :) I bid high only because I live 30-odd miles from the seller, and I was hoping to pick it up with cash-in-hand.
Guest astan100
The saddest part of all was that he listed it here for 395 initially. So either of us could have had it at that price...doh.
Daneille
Hey Stainless, your really gonna dig it. Great board :-) Daneille
Stainless
Hope I see you guys when we're on the hill. My beloved Volant is almost camberless, and the 4x4 is to replace it as my stick of choice. I may have to give up 'Stainless' (as in cold steel, baby), for 'Utility'. Guest astan100
Bump: Still looking. I'm considering some offers I have now. Let me know if anyone else wants to unload a board.
