RJ-PS
So in my quest to find out more about snowboard materials I came across this site: http://www.titanal-sports.com/ It lists a bunch of manufacturers that supposedly use the material on their boards, but a cursory glance at each individual website gives no details except Volkl which say they use "Titanal inlays" whatever that means. They also don't mention Kessler whom I thought were the big forerunners of the material that got everyone else open-eyed to the whole idea of rethinking aluminum composites in snowboards. Also a glance at this year's F2's and you know right away that they're using the stuff. I wonder if it has changed their rides at all or whether anyone can tell the difference? Anyway, I gotta call the guy in charge of the Carver's Almanac and see if he'll investigate. Smarter guy then me, I get more information off that site.... neil sunday
I believe Fawcett's Sims had them in them circa 1996. I know a guy that still has one and it still rides well even in race courses after 9 years....
