Mike T
skisofast's post on cheap T-handle wrenches had a familar ring to it so I clicked the link... same place where I got my Peet shoe dryer for $25 a couple of years ago. They are $35 now, but that's still a pretty good deal. http://www.madsens1.com/peetdry.htm This is a dryer that uses room-temp air that I've raved about in the past, and recommend for anyone too lazy to build their own. pm_wizard
I don't know about yours, but I have this dryer and it generates heated air, it does a great job of drying, but it also slowly heats my Thermoflex liners and causes them to bulge slightly. I will be converting my dryer over to a small fan and NO heating function. John
P06781
I use my peets dryer all the time w/ thermoflex liners and never had any problems. It get warm but not hot, uses convection to draw air into top of boot. Works great! Jim
Mike T
The only times I've had problems with mine getting too warm is if I use it in a very warm room - e.g. close to the fireplace. Actually the room I stayed in at the Sun Peaks carve camp had heated floors and that caused it to blow warm enough air to mess with my liners. If I use it in a room that's < 70*F, no problems to date.
Mike T
Just saw the Peet Shoe Dryer for $29.99 at Bi-Mart here in Bend. No idea how consistent they are store to store, but definitley a good price.

Jim Nah, I was shopping for some rafting supplies... just saw the boot dryer ;) It hasn't hit 100 yet this year, 98 the other day but didn't feel that hot. Bachelor is almost bare though - a sad sight indeed. Good news is my shoukder is healing nicely and I can weak a backpack again.
