Peet Shoe Dryer

skisofast's post on cheap T-handle wrenches had a familar ring to it so I clicked the link... same place where I got my Peet shoe dryer for $25 a couple of years ago. They are $35 now, but that's still a pretty good deal.

This is a dryer that uses room-temp air that I've raved about in the past, and recommend for anyone too lazy to build their own.

The only times I've had problems with mine getting too warm is if I use it in a very warm room - e.g. close to the fireplace. Actually the room I stayed in at the Sun Peaks carve camp had heated floors and that caused it to blow warm enough air to mess with my liners.

If I use it in a room that's < 70*F, no problems to date.

Mike, its 90 in Portland so it must be 100 in Bend and you are shopping for a new boot dryer? I guess I should get an extra one...

Nah, I was shopping for some rafting supplies... just saw the boot dryer ;) It hasn't hit 100 yet this year, 98 the other day but didn't feel that hot. Bachelor is almost bare though - a sad sight indeed. Good news is my shoukder is healing nicely and I can weak a backpack again.
