NMU Alpine Boarder
While getting the lift after inspection, a woman got tripped up while gettin on the chair, and had one of her skis slam into my Volkyl. No one was hurt, but the board took a decent hit. Any ideas on repairs? The gash is about the size of a dime, and appears to be topsheet only.... Gtanner
Works like a charm...add in some black nailpolish if you'd like to build it up to the same level as the topsheet and it'll look pretty good. This is assuming that the damage is to the topsheet only and not lower. Good luck Gord
TEAMFUN
Mix up some PC-7 from the hardware store and fill in the ding...will keep water from getting into the core and protect the board.:D
skategoat
24 hour epoxy and heat. The heat draws the epoxy into the fibres. Tape around the gouge and have rags handy to wipe up the drips. Let it cure and then colour with fingernail polish. I love 24 hour epoxy.
