big canuck
I have been out of snowboarding for a few years and keen to get back at it. I have an older Sims MFR 174 and I have a 178 and 168 Oxygen Proton coming and a 190 Rossi WC en-route. I'm 240 lb using Head Stratus pro boots with TD 2 SI bindings. Just looking for some feedback from BOL members on the characteristics of the boards and any general insight. Thanks. Kurt
Chris Houghton
Dunno about others, but I'd start on the 168 Oxy and get used to the boots and bindings for a bit before I try the bigger sticks. And start with as shallow angles as possible, then experiment and see what feels good. Main thing to remember - have fun.

big canuck
I thought the longer front would be more stable? I guess I'll find out soon enough. Do I have to lean back a bit more? I appreciate the info. Kurt
bobdea
but its long and soft if it is like the 184 so in soft snow it can fold I had a 184 and it tossed me over the front a couple times Ncermak has one and he was told not make it into a bench because its too soft up front given the 190 is not the same model so it may not be a issue as for the Oxygens they hook up well and can be ridden aggressivly they are not my favorite board but allot of people like those boards allot
