dr. sandman
Greetings! We may finally be upgrading from a slow DSL to a much quicker wireless broadband at the house and would FINALLY be able to dump the landline service which rakes me over the coals every month for service that pretty much amounts to nothing. So, was wondering if any of you have any experience with VOIP and could give me some feedback on whether or not the service is quality (sound/delay etc) and which provider(s) are better, and anything else that might be helpful?? Thanks for your input! Sandman (p.s. - I'm up in Superior California if that makes any difference on input regarding providers, etc.)
TLN
Hello. I'm out of US, but using an US phone number(Chicago area). Haven't tested it alot, I'm using skype for outgoing calls mostly. If you want - I can pm my number so you can check quality yourself. ps. It mostly depends on how much phones you want to have, and what will be your internet connection, and how many people use it. dr. sandman
Hi Jack, so are you using Ooma? What is/are it's advantages? (now that I checked their website, it looks pretty awesome so I'll modify my question: any downsides that you are aware of??)
