patmoore
Throwback Thursday has become a popular pursuit on Facebook. I thought I'd post an entry here. It was the Spring of 1997 at Okemo and my first time on a snowboard (a very heavy 168 cm Burton Air). I wanted to see if it was possible to do a handstand while strapped into a board. The answer is yes but it sure isn't easy. I had a t-shirt made up with that photo with the caption "Maturity is Overrated"
icebiker
Hey Pat, good thread idea. Meant to post this after work on Thurs. Don't have an old snowboard pic (have to scan a few and will post some other time), but do have a pic from the sport that led me to snowboarding. This was taken at my home ramp, circa 79 or so. Hope all is well with you.

patmoore
From about ten years ago. I'm with my brother Jake who had just gotten out of Joliet. We headed for Killington for a little R&R. The day ended just like the movie.....
