zoltan
My friend has issues with his feet and needs a pair of the widest soft boots made. He's also like his boots as stiff as possible. Any suggestions?
TLN
Stiffest: Salomon Malamute, Burton Driver X, Deeluxe spark. Widest: well, I know there's Salomon Synapse Wide for one who have wider foot, they're not as stiff as Malamutes but around 7/10 while malamutes are 9/10. You can also consider moldable liner as used in a hardboots. I see no problems using it in a softies. But it will probably make your boot softer and send you extra $100-200 back. nekdut
Malamutes are much narrower than Burtons. I had to upsize quite a bit to keep my toes from being smashed, but then they were too long. They did not work for my 4E+ wide feet.
leeho730
32 boots are like head Stratos pro... But has rather low arch area. Focus boa is relatively stiff and light, or prime which is stiffest. Edited January 24, 2014 by leeho730
Boarder_Ted
686/New Balance makes a very stiff, wide boot that fits quite well. Truly a high volume boot.
