After I went to Colorado last year, I told myself I wouldn't go this year, but here I am in September considering taking the train out to Glenwood Springs in early January. Guest Posted September 11, 2013 Report Share Posted September 11, 2013 Agree with Bob, why not just come over to Aspen? That said, Sunlight is a fun mountain, albeit primarily on a pow day IMO. The runs are groomed nicely as well, but not a large number of them on any given day. I had a pass both to Sunlight and Aspen a couple seasons ago, and I made it to sunlight maybe 3 or 4 times, despite being the same distance from me as Aspen/Snowmas.
