timmytard
I found a Volkl Spline & haven't been able to find any info on it, or very little anyway. From what I have found, it sounds like a pretty good board? Does anyone know how old it is? Love to hear from someone that's still riding one. BlueB
About 10 years old. Mellow BX board, narrower and mellower then the Volkl Cross. I think it's 24 at the waist (a bit narrow for soft boots) and about 8.5m SCR. If no big damage it's well worth his asking price. Try, you might like it - if no love, I'll trade you something for it ;)

Must be pretty nimble for a 64? Maybe I will give it a try? Having the option to trade it if I don't like it sounds great. I've been on a tear lately, I think I've bought 10 boards or so in the last couple weeks? I may have 1/4 as many of the boards you have? Probably not? Awesome thanks B Posted the corporate discount deal again, it's even cheaper than last year. $314 I believe, spread the word.
BlueB
Wow, that's a good deal. Silver or Gold pass?
D.T.
I had that board. IIRC the vintage is 2000 or 2001. I enjoyed it, but found it was too soft for me at 190-lbs using softies.

You have a long way to go before you can even contemplate have the Ptex garage of death, young padewan... As for me, my quiver is actually shrinking by one or two boards, as I make space in my gear locker for the change of seasons. Geo
www.oldsnowboards.com
If I didn't know better I might think this was a "work around" for selling a new board? Bomber sells Volkl and asks that new boards sales , links or listings of any kind are not posted to the forum. Thanks for your cooperation in preventing reach arounds :)

timmytard
Silver, but Silver is perfect. You don't want to go on any of the restricted days anyway. It'd be just packed with meat pylons. Well, I've got 2 Palmer Channels both 64's. It's prolly softer than those? How would you compare those 2? The Palms are by far the stiffest boards I've ever ridden. They have a scr of 10 so 8.5 should ride way different, no? I really like em, they haul ass that's for sure. It was my favorite board for the air-bag jump this past year. They told me I had to slow down my in run, I was almost hitting the back bumper on the landing pad. Here is one one my skate banana 156, it's really beat up & slow [VIMEO]54297885[/VIMEO] Cool, thanks. I'm only about 165lbs, so it should be alright? I think it is the info here that may have led me astray . Posted the corporate discount deal again, it's even cheaper than last year.$314 I believe, spread the word. I assume now that this is in regards to a season pass perhaps? You guys knew what you were referring to. Carry on :)

Mmm? Hard to say, not the point. Alpine binding manufacturer that doesn't carry a full line of softboot items?

slopestar
with the demise of catek... there is nothing...they offer the powerplates for softboot but don't offer a softboot binding. I never said full line. just "the high end fastec softboot bindings" By Volkl. Or better still/ turn the baseplate of a powerplate into a very stiff softboot binding...? Seeing as there is not a single bit of traffic over on bomber BX where everyone is still riding alpine boards and hardboots on the BX courses....
