Samples
Are there any advanced alpine instructors at Stratton? Or any training camps that come to Stratton or a nearby mountain?
lafcadio
I think it depends on what you're looking for and how far "nearby" is for you. One event you might want to check out is the Pure Boarding Event at Mont Blanc, Quebec on February 9/10: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?37773-Pureboarding-Event-Mont-Blanc-Quebec-%96-February-9-10-2013 Riding with and taking a clinic from Joerg is eye opening. Joerg will also be in upstate New York Feb 10-12, and may (still TBD) be at Berkshire East at the end of February. See the Pure Boarding site for location of events: http://pureboarding.com/index.php?id=season-schedule
~tb
Are there any advanced alpine instructors at Stratton? Or any training camps that come to Stratton or a nearby mountain? There are a lot of options in Vermont, but what are you looking to learn? I bet you could likely pick up a good chunk just by putting in some riding time with the group of regular carvers at Stratton.
