eos4life
Greetings, I will be in Lake Tahoe the third week of March for business and I was wondering if I should extend my stay to ride in the area. I will be staying at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe. We have a free afternoon to go to Diamond Peak for a quick session but I am tempted to stay longer and do more. I was hoping to get some info from local people or frequent visitors about the typical conditions in late March. Maybe if I could get advice where to go from the Hyatt on weather, snow condition and crowd. Thanks.

Randy T.
A lot of years we get some of our biggest storms in March so it could be a powder day or spring riding conditions. We are off to a good start for the season. Rose has received over 100" so far. If you have the chance I would say stay and ride. Diamond Peak is only 10 minutes from the Hyatt. Mt Rose is only 10 miles away and we have a good amount of carvers at Rose.
heroshmero
Hit Heavenly on the south end of the lake if you have the time.
