SunSurfer
Came across this in my travels on YouTube. Designed for surfers so that no one has to sit on the beach shooting video while there are great waves to be had. There are a number of videos. <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BaepW9-kK-c" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="360" width="640"></iframe> I can see the potential with a static tripod, just wonder how well it would work on a mobile basis for following a moving target down the slopes? www.oldsnowboards.com
Pretty cool for 400$, built in the USA too!! One of those cool gadgets I wouldn't mind having, just probably not a priority. It would be really handy for alpine events if it could track a dozen arm bands? Set it up on the ideal spot and then anytime someone with an appropriate arm band rides by it captures them. My luck, by the time I looped back someone would have taken off with it. :(
kieran
agree with Bryan. havent read about them but would be neat if they can hand-off to another tripod, for overlapping video. copper bowl anyone?
