K-star
Hey everyone! I had so much fun this weekend! I so enjoyed meeting y'all and I really appreciated all the help and support you gave me as a first time carver! I look forward to seeing the footage Arclight puts together of everyone as it's going to be a while till I get back up to the snow and it'll tide me over till next season:( You guys (and girl) are all awesome and I can't wait till next year! Cheers! Kresta
Topi
Same here :biggthump:biggthump, it was my first time participating in these events and it won’t be the last that’s for sure. It was nice to meet all the guys and girls. My vholdr camera didn’t do a good job capturing the action on the slopes, I think it had too much light to handle. Can’t wait for all the pictures and videos from arcLite and carvingChef.
Tim Kienitz
Me too! So much fun meeting and riding with other carvers who love the sport as much as I do. Thanks again Neil for holding the event and I hope you do it again next year. Yes we should have a Radar gun to test the speeds of plate and non plate systems. Can’t wait to see the video of the “Chinese Downhill” carving run everybody was in on Sunday. :) tim

Arclite
I was messing around on softies and here's the outcome: Who says you can't carve on softies?! Also, I got this part on video, but you'll have to wait for that...
Arclite
I'll probably have the video up in 10 days by the latest. Hopefully. I took a bunch of screen shots of the video; I'll post them once this thread goes to the next page.

Arclite
I did my best with taking the screen shots; sometimes the subject was too far away from the camera. If you would like more pictures of you personally riding, PM me and I'll take more of you specifically. <embed id="ZeroClipboardMovie_50" src="http://pic.pbsrc.com/flash/ZeroClipboardFV2.swf" loop="false" menu="false" quality="best" bgcolor="#ffffff" name="ZeroClipboardMovie_50" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" flashvars="id=50&text=%255BIMG%255Dhttp%253A//i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm194/xxxlolwtfbbqxxx/SNES%2525202011/Screenshot2011-04-18at65037PM.png%255B/IMG%255D" wmode="transparent" align="middle" height="23" width="160">

Arclite
Note: The beginning thirty seconds or so are really quiet, it's volume is at 500%, and it still is really quiet. Don't turn up your speakers. You have been warned. <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/22795323?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" frameborder="0" height="224" width="398"></iframe>

AaronG
Cool video Julian, hope to make it there next year and ride with some of the other people on the SoCal board. Looks like I am going to have to up my game though. After all the skiing this year I will have to start from square one on the carving board. Bullwings
Yeah, i'm definitely going to have to up my game. That and my stamina. Summit is such a small mountain that you don't really work on that much. I didn't even make it out to Mammoth/June once this year or anywhere away from Summit. heh
