LambertoMI Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 Finally after 30 yrs of riding, I made it over to Caberfae last weekend. Not a bad place, small but no crowds. Nice slopes, and wide open. Would have liked longer runs:( I got the $9 dollar special so it was well worth to go check out. How does Crystal compare? I have not done much on that side of the state. Trenchman Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 I haven't been to Caberfae in over 10 years so I really can't compare the 2 but I just got home from Crystal. They got 8 inches this week and the snow is in excellent condition for carving. Crystal has less vertical drop at 375 compared to 475 at Caberfae. Crystal has 3 wide open black diamonds and alot of blue cruisers. Crystal tickets are $25 for the rest of the season with no night skiing and closing on April 3. There is another post on the same forum where we are talking about it. Would be great to get all of us out there for one last carve.
