I'm Expecting an even stiffer R17 160 than the one I sent back teusday in the coming week. I'd like to prepare it as best I can before riding it the first time! Stone grinding? Structuring? bobdea Posted December 3, 2004 Report Share Posted December 3, 2004 scrape then I apply what ever bevel I prefer at the time for that specific type of board longer decks I use more bevel then I apply temp specific wax for that given day with the base I take a bar to it and if it is not flat it gets a grind it is surprizing how many decks come out of the factory with wavy bases usually I only do this if I feel like there is something wrong with the deck though structure is something that is dependant on what it left the factory with some of my decks have had decent structure other well had none Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
