I want to post some pics but they're bmp and when I resize them according to the FAQ, they're still above 100 KB. How do I get these photos down below 100 KB? Your icon photo has to be 100kb or below,any other photos can be whatever. If you use a photo host(photobucket) after uploading them to the host you can paste a link to the host (photobucket) and they show up here, the host will usually have tools on the site for re-sizing and cropping photos as necessary.
