yooperluke
So Im riding on UPZ RTR's and I carve a whole lot better with the boots in walk mode as opposed to locked in. My question is, can I get rid of the lock lever and springs and replace them with the BTS? It seems like it would be a lot cleaner and allow me to dial in the BTS where I want it as oppsed to the stock stuff.
ursle
What size are they? You need to move into Heads or Deluxe boots, both of which will accept the BTS kit. There's no cobbing the UPZ's with the BTS. Riding the UPZ in walk mode is only going to break either you or the boot. I'm on the hunt for a 26 shell:cool:
kinpa
Riding the UPZ in walk mode is only going to break either you or the boot. I've been riding in walk mode for a long time and never had any problems. I even ski with my ski boots in walk mode. I had asked an experienced instructor to watch me (on skis) and he couldn't even tell that my boots weren't locked in!
DiveBomber
FWIW, I think the Heads with BTS are better than the UPZ's
Transistor Rhythm
Some skunkworks going on at ExtremeCarving.com: http://www.extremecarving.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8405 There are quite a few people using Arnaud's solution for Head boots already, you could send him a message.
