In my neverending quest for new places to carve that are within (relatively) easy striking distance of my home in eastern West Virginia...I'm wondering about Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY? We have family in Buffalo, and I've driven through Ellicottville (on 219) many times during the spring/summer/fall. It's a great little town! The slopes don't look big, but Holiday Valley seems fairly spread-out, and it seems like it might not be too crowded in the winter (kinda in the middle of nowhere). Any opinions are appreciated! (I'm almost psyched by the possibility that I found a 100% "hardbooter-free" resort! LOL—just because I didn't think any existed!) lowrider Posted December 21, 2010 Report Share Posted December 21, 2010 Race there Jan. 2nd and 3rd lots of hard boots.(I have not personally confimed this but have it on good authority) You might get to see a national champion senior racer there.
