MUD
Hey all, Time for a new full face helmet. I would like to get a Giro Remedy but have a question. Does anyone know the difference between the S and the bike models? Is it just the amount of vents???? Thanks! Edit: I forgot to add, I want to use it for both snowboarding and mountainbiking. Mud, If you are going to be using it for both, definetely the bike model. You'll sacrifice a bit of warmth but you will thank yourself in the summer. Dunno about your price range, but the Troy Lee Designs D2/D3 are the word luxury for your face. Take a look if $250-550 isnt bad. $.
thebionicman
Doug, I have a Remedy S if you want to check it out. I picked it up at the end of last season. Didn't even think of getting the mtb one to run for both seasons.
Rob Stevens
The winter Remedy will be unwearable in the summer. The summer ones vents can be taped on the inside, however and it will be useful in both seasons. If you want to roll like a PIMP, you need the TLD. I own 4 myself and look great in each one. I think I'll go put one on and admire myself. If you google it, you could probably find clearouts on the carbon D2 for a good price, with the bonus being their light weight and strength. MUD
I'll check out the D2. It has very good reviews on MTBR.com...... Sounds like it is the one to get. Thanks!
