Guest Randy S. Posted November 17, 2004 Report Share Posted November 17, 2004 Just file the edges. The rust will be a good guide to let you know you've taken enough material off. Or you can just ride the board and the rust will come off in 1-2 runs. If you really want it done perfectly, it probably wouldn't hurt to take it to a shop and have them stone grind it. You probably haven't done that in a while. In the future, you can avoid the problem by simply taking a crappy piece of wax and running it along the edge before you store it or put it on top of your car. Keep those edges clean and dry :) If you let them it get really rusty, then the gummi stone will only remove some of the surface rust. A fine stone might be needed.
