Do you ride it with hardboots or softboots?

I will probably order a new 182 this week, so asking for your opinion :)

Over the years both, last couple years , hardboots only.

Are you heavy? Know that the newer lighter Tankers have seen an increase in damages with heavier hardboot riders. Just an FYI. The 2003 model holds up the best IMO.

I'm pretty adamant in saying that they work best with softboots if you use them for what they are marketed as and that being a pow, woods, chop and corn slayer. I ride the wide models, some people ride the narrow ones with plates but I think these are usually people who don't ride softboots on anything.

im pretty light, 80 kg with gear.

I got some f2 freestyle stepins, but the boot is bad and they dont make new boots.

I rather ride it with hardboots, 182 2010 model.

I'd use it for powder and carve on the slopes, ofcourse.

I'd rather go with the new model, since it's rockered.

I ride a 192 (the skinny one at 24cm) in softies. I'm a lightweight at about 165lbs.

I'm ready to put one more year on this board before I look at a Tanker200; or something custom from Sean or Bruce.

It's my everyday, go anywhere board. After three years of trying I'm still confident I haven't pushed this thing to the limits yet.
