vapor
No problems with snow so far, but we all know of the times when it doesnt matter what your riding ,it just ends up one giant iceball. I'll pimp the dynafit stuff anytime. Accending with it is truly eye opening. The hard part i think is the majority come straight from soft boots and cant get use to AT boots. BlueB
AT boot lower... hard boot upper... BTS... You are my hero!
crucible
Yes indeed- plus one to what Boris just posted- your split board "frankenboot" is truly a mutant work of art. It looks like a Dynafit Zzero lower boot- but what are the components of the tongue, upper cuff, and BTS-like spring? Geo
BlueB
The cuff seems to be from Raichle 324s, 2nd buckle removed? Tongue, I havn't got a clue... Visible parts of the BTS seem to be genuine? And I thought that I'm a Frankenboot meister, with my BTSed and gutted out ski boots :D I'll have to add the Vibram sole to them, this summer, just to catch up with Vapor. vapor
Glad you like the boots. Pretty much everybody mods these boots out of the box.To get more lateral flex i used an old upper 324 cuff and made bts like system for it only it has no lower spring but the white knob that has two settings, one that allows movement for touring and one that limits backward flex. The tongues are stock there but i switch it up at times.
