dredman Posted April 15, 2010 Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 NOAA is calling for a 30% chance of rain/snow for Saturday at Targhee, but Idaho Falls wx is showing mostly sunny the rest of the week - weekend, which is usually a better indicator of what the cloud cover will really be like at the Ghee. So the dredman prediction is.... Carving days at Targhee this weekend!! See you all at 10:00 AM at the Dream Catcher lift Saturday and Sunday.... remember that lifts are only open from 10AM - 3 PM this weekend! Well, even with the retched conditions that I had to put up with, I decided a bad day of riding is better than any day of taxes. The sun was too sunny, they groomed twice as much as the report said, and the views... well - you see what I had to deal with. I did have more than a half dozen people ask if that was me last weekend?, did I make all those awful ruts?, where are my friends? (They'll be back on Saturday, I say. :) "oh :(," he replies. A few pics from today: Eager carvers load up their pockets with Little Debbies - lifts only run from 10-3, so no stopping for lunch! Johnasmo, BigDogDave, Dredman & Two Ravens all smiles on the lift.
