forrest
Hello, Just wondering if anyone has made it up to Sugarloaf since the rain last week. I heard they closed most of the mountain down right after and were gradually opening as the week progressed. Is it all rocks and ice or were they able to groom it out? I'm hoping to get up there Wednesday. Thanks
Enzo
Coverage & grooming were great this weekend. Some trails were buttery soft where they had the snowguns blasting. Other trails were lsgr or hardpack, but still edgeable. Considering all the rain and the recent arctic temps, conditions were mighty fine. *As a minor disclaimer: I regularly ride Loon, so it doesn't take much to blow me away with good snow quality & grooming. trailertrash
It really seems like the steeper trails are in better condition than the easier trails. The steeper stuff must have drained the water quicker. It wasn't bad at all today.
