Guest Thrillkil
Is it possible to ride with hard boots and soft bindings? I bought a FP last year and my dad is getting me a set of hard boots, but I dont have enough money to buy plates; im buying a DH mountain bike, for some off-season shredding :D . Gecko
but why would you want to....surf Ebay and pick up a used set of something like Burtons for a season or two (should run from $40-$80) and then transition to TDs/Cateks when you have the cash to blow

LeeW
I once saw something real retard. at Bristol back in either spring of 93 or fall of 93, we all were riding out at bristol mtn. one of our crew -- used a ski boots in strap bindings. we kept loadin up the chair lift while this guy with skiboots was knocking down himself one time too many on his first run whilst we have ran perhaps 5 times. bristol's a tiny mountain. i seriously will NOT recommend hardboots with bindings. alpinegirl
and that was back in the day when it could take close to 10 minutes to ride back up to the top. impressive i think the current optimistic outlook is around 5.
