lonbordin
...for the deserving alpine board builders?! A review by Wired magazine of an odd board (Rockered Split board).
earthsurfing
Actually- an awesome board. But- send a board to Wired! I'm sure they'd be interested in reporting on the metal 'revolution'. OR better yet, send an article!
Loc
I'm hoping to begin splitting this year and Venture has a great reputation among the backcountry folks. They're a small shop like Donek and make some great stuff with a lot of love. I've wondered what a splitboard with metal would ride like... http://venturesnowboards.com/
earthsurfing
Splitting is seriously the sh!t! I haven't ridden a venture yet, but they are presently winning a 'best manufactured split board' poll on splitboard.com Seems like a company with integrity, too. (tried to embed video and it was really weird)Although, most racers might have more loyalty for Prior, who also makes very nice splitboards. Anyway- definitely my favorite way to ride, these days. Thinking of setting up some 'round trip' races, actually.
