My friend is going to get into carving he just does'nt know it yet! He has been boarding for a few years and is looking for a new board. Am thinking on the lines off 4x4, axis or allmountain. They are all good boards, he's about 6" and 75kg so was thinking 170cmish length. He does jumps as well and wondered what these boards ability was like with regards to this?

Thanks!

I think an all mountain board is a great introduction to someone who has either never snowboarded or is a strong soft booter. These boards have enough flex to not scare people off right at the get-go. I have an all mountain board, and I love it. They also work great for people who have experience in riding, but like the flexibility (like me).
