monodude
Lovey reported 6" but it was 1+ feet in many places. The Duret Monstre Mono ruled today !! People just don't ride the trees here. Run after run of my own tracks in the trees. It just doesn't get any bettah. First chair on 6 and first tracks on 5 or 6 runs before resorting to the trees. Not too cold, not much wind.... HUH ? Tomorrow should be good.... Don Feedthe addiction...
arneburner
I measured 1 to 2 feet on chair 8. Also hit 9 when it opened later in the morning. The trees off 6 and the north chutes and trees off 4 were also great. It was a little dense in places but the skwals that I have on each foot worked well. Rode with Matt on a Duprez for a while . It was one of the better pow days of the year. Tomorrow should be another great pow day on the Nittro Swallowtail with Tony. Too bad some LCI members need to work. AccidentalChef
Next year, can someone please remind me not to get taken out by any skiers a week before a huge storm?
arneburner
Another great powder day with snow flurries, sun, and lots of snow. Not too many gapers except for the for the guy who ran into me because he never saw a swallow tail powder board and wanted a closer look as well as the girl who rode up the short catwalk from 2 to 6 and decided to stop and ride back down when I was blasting up it. Put on the gps today, hit 49 mph in the pow and over 24 miles in distance. The tunnel face and zip basin off 8 were great. The north chutes and trees off 4 also rocked. monodude
Serious dumpage happening NOW. Between the A.M. report and 11:00 A.M. it snowed 6"+. Had to take the skwal off due to too much side boot drag !!! Tomorrow should be EPIC POW !!! I'm unsure about where to ride tomorrow. Depends on who got the goodies.... Don Feed the addiction...
