Burton System 3 Strap Bindings

SBS,

When I purchased these bindings new, they came with a second set of freestyle highbacks (no 3rd strap) and a non lock-down tab. I still have the highbacks and tabs somewhere (?) and never used them. In the 10 years that I've used these bindings, I've never broken a baseplate due to a chair coming down on the highback. I was required to put the highback down before I got on the chair, as is the rule at my local hill. The tab is a bit worn from usage but is still in good repair.

This pair of 3-straps runs smaller than others I've used. It will fit a 9.5 (US) to a 10.5 (US) Mens boot fine. Anything larger won't work.

why would Anyone NOT simply fold the highback down before getting on the chair?

I rode 'Torque' 3 straps for years without a problem.

My problem is that when I last put them away I had one of the straps that have all the little ramps on them folded back over on itself. Seems like a couple years of that was enough to almost break it.

I'm on the lookout for a replacement strap if anyone has any leads :1luvu:

The reason Burton went to the channel on the baseplate with the clip

on the highback was because they were getting to many of these

returned for Warranty OK...Glad you guys had no problems:biggthump

Hey, just in time to put all of the gear away for the season:

Price reduced to $95.00 plus shipping

Again, these fit a smaller boot. If you are a rider with big boots these may not be the bindings for you. Say, a 9.5 to 10.0 US is about it.

Have these babies ready to ride for next season when the snow flies in November.

Thanks for looking,

Mark
