photodad2001
Here's another clip of my daughter (8yrs old). Tonight we concentrated on riding technique. There's some spots where you can see how still her upperbody is with square shoulders, and some speed and even a few skidcarves. It was icy with loose granular, heavy in places. The video is also a bit dark. I'll mess with the brightness and contrast another time. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd8HZJBOZjI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd8HZJBOZjI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
carvedog
Nice work man, she is getting pretty solid on that. Did you figure out boots?
photodad2001
Nice work man, she is getting pretty solid on that. Did you figure out boots? Same boots, but a bigger board. She'd been riding the one I bought her 2 years ago and it was time to go bigger. The one she was on before was a 110, and now she's on a 131. It comes up to her eyebrows so it's close to how my 171 hits me. We also made some stance adjustments. A little wider and after taking it out the first day I moved the bindings forward as well. photodad2001
Love It.... Unfortunately the batteries ran out, I didn't stop recording. She actually came down and stopped fakie. Later that evening she was riding fakie on some of the green runs switching it up going down the hill. I'll have to post another clip after next weekend.
