Pat Donnelly
I will be shipping mine in a SporTube via FedEx to Glenwood Springs Lodge & Pool. Even fully insured it is a few dollars less than the $50 NWA's fee. Plus, I do not have the hassle of dragging in and out of the airport. I packed it the other day to take in to FedEx to get cost and timing and it will arrive on the third day after sending from Michigan. I also secure tubular pipe insulation on the edges for added protection.
Mr. T
I shipped boards via UPS today (please god, let them make it there safely on the brown short bus) to Aspen for about 50 bones. :) Just went to the United web site to see what they will gouge me for next week, $15 for a check in bag, over 50LBS. add another $125, 175 clams one way for oversize baggage, holy crap the gouging!!!! How can I travel like a red blooded, overpacking american with these restrictions? I may have to leave my furry UGG boots and leather duster at home this year. Thor VonRippington
I wouldn't be surprised to see Recon himself pop outta one of those tubes He would ship himself to save a buck Too bad the loud snoring would give him away and he'd get sent back

Steve Prokopiw
The best way would be priority mail but weight might play a role, and it might be cheaper to separate them into two packages with two boards each.Individually with insurance they would all add up to about the same as your first quote.
