If I hang a 25lb weight off the center of the effective edge (last contact point on tip and tail, board suspended on 2x4 blocks at these points) of my Coiler, I get a deflection of 5/8". Now with metal its a different thing as #s do not always transfer from glass boards. Different camber amounts would make readings different. Different weights would see different deflections depending on the dynamic flex as more stuff like carbon resists more when pushed farther. Toss in the modern race designs now and the reference points on those are totally foreign to anything of past.
