These guys carve an icy pipe wall, throw a big spin, and upon landing cleanly carve to the next hit.

Freestylers carve too. Big time.

My school library has that book..Better return that book I took out in September and give it a look-see. Kinda surprising the great selection of skate, surf, and snow books we have. There's a book I "lost" because I found out it was out of print, shows a lot of cool older alpine gear in it. Variplates etc.

Boostertwo..Who are you? What's your story?
According to my colleagues, I'm a creaky old fart with bad attitude.

I've been riding for a bunch of years and have been fortunate with some career opportunities w/in the industry. I often teach snowboarding,

and am lucky to live and work at a great place (Vail) and to occasionally videotape some very accomplished riders.

While I'm mostly riding powder in softies these days (it has been a snowy winter, so far), I get out on carving gear when conditions warrant.

I like to visit BOL for the knowledge and tech discussions here. IMO it's one of the best snowboarding sites on the internets.

Cheers,

B-2
