Jack M
Volkl then. The sidecuts are tighter than F2 for comparable length boards, and that will be better for ice and fall line turns.
canuckcarver
thanks jack. is it a very stable board when carrying a good speed? im looking at the 178 GS i got a 163 SL older model, its a really nice board to control. i guess im being a bit brand loyal. Volkls are great boards, I used to ride one. 12.5m isn't very long for a 178cm board, so stability at speed is going to be subject to what size turn you're trying to do. It will want to come around fairly quickly at speed, which is why I suggested Volkl over F2 for ice and fall line turns as you said. But if you're looking for a GS board for longer high speed turns, F2 would be better there.
