Frontier announced Wednesday it will lower fares between several major markets and Denver from Jan. 6 through March 4. Tickets must be purchased by 9:59 p.m. Mountain time on Friday, Dec. 12. The discounts include $79 one-way tickets to San Diego and San Francisco; $79 tickets to Los Angeles and Portland; $139 to New York’s La Guardia Airport; and $149 to Washington, D.C. The fare between Aspen and Denver is $79 one-way during the sale, so skiers and riders could reduce the travel expenses of a trip. The lowest fares are for off-peak travel, which is noon Monday through noon Thursday and Saturdays from noon to 11:59 p.m. on domestic flights. Blackout dates apply on Feb. 13 and 16. Discounts with conditions also are available for flights to Costa Rica and Mexico. The one-way fare to Cabo San Lucas from Denver is $139 and $149 to Cancun.
