carvedog
Seriously - Are these any use ? Apparently not. I freehand it but I also use a set of stones with a 91 degree guide and a clamp. this looks like a better version of that. Doesnt say if it is adjustable for angle. For that money why I could fill my car like once!?! Since my base ptex should be flat, my base angle is minus 1 and side is 91 or 92, don't know if that make sense, I would not something that just goes straight 90. something to think about. Dave ESPI
I have a handtuner. DAKINE makes it. it was all of 15.00 and works fine for knocking out the small burrs. If I really need a clean edge, I have a shop do them on the machines. I usualy do that after the fall and in the spring when the slop happens and I carve down to plate ice and need edgehold. When it is just "snow",(and I use the term loosely as I'm from the Northeast) the handtuner works fine.
