Rob Smith
Proud Dad & Mom Pierce went to Italy as one of the Cdn. SBX team of 5 "men". We're thrilled to see he finished 12th and the top ranking Canadian. Three of his team mates were right behind at 14, 15 & 16th. Did we miss the wax? We still haven't heard from him... skategoat
Congrats to Pierce on a fine result. There's some fine vino in Italy and no drinking age. You'll probably hear from him in a week or so.
Guest Boardbum
Congrates to the Canadians they did very well, I was predicting top 8 or 4, they were close. Very surprised the big Norwegian kid didn't win, thats boardercross.
Rob Smith
Finally heard from the kid, here's the spin; Heat #1; Pierce won this heat beating the #4 German qualifier (who qualified 1.6 sec. faster than Pierce). Heat #2; Pierce was ½ a board length behind the American leader (the #5 qualifier) 45 sec. into the race and he fell… not provoked. Ya, he was upset. Guest Boardbum
That's to bad but good for him that he came top 16. As long as its not a nasty Nate take out
