Dave Winters
How is it? Do they groom anything back there? I used to ski it years ago... we'd leave a car for a ride back. Fairly steep as I remember, but south /southwest exposure. -Dave
Thor VonRippington
I highly recommend Montezuma Bowl!! In my opinion it rivals anything Vail has to offer in the back. They groom three huge sections and it is truly carvalicious. Take your AM board for some steep and deep. Skip it on a flat light day... no trees for reference (as with most of Abasin). Let me know when you are headed over and I'll meet you there Dave! (I have a few discount coupons left if anyone is interested.)
Dave Winters
Thanks. We close early: 4/6. So I'll be over there sometime in April. What's WP's closing date?
D.T.
(I have a few discount coupons left if anyone is interested.)I told Snowman that as soon as the Spring Gapers leave town, Shelly and I will make the trip over.
Snowman
Dave The new adddition at the Basin is definately worth your trip from the Boat. Please post when you come down I would love to ride with you and your son again. Do it after gaper season is over and we can probably turn it into a beer, food, beach thing. Hope all is well... Guest shrederjen
I found the Montezuma Bowl so carvable, I went and swapped all my gear over from the Dynastar (pow board) to the Madd 170, (even though I only had a few hours to play) a few weeks ago. It was truely perfect for carving!! Cant wait to do it again! Jen
