Guest RC51Stunna
She wears size 7.5 womens boots/shoes. She is 5'5 and weighs under 150 lbs. This is her first time trying alpine boarding and I am just looking for some advice on ideal products to meet her needs. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. TIA Jason J. Guest RC51Stunna
Here's a pair of boots my wife is selling.http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=19421 Thanks James! These may be the best boots for us. Can you tell me if they are "soft" or "hard" and what bindings are needed to use these boots? Thanks Jason J
James Ong
I think the boots are on the softer side of the spectrum, you need hard bindings for these. Bomber td2's or equivalent. If you want a step in setup you'll have to get intec heels and the appropriate bindings. sorry it took so long to reply, out of town. Will be back sunday. dshack
At that weight, you probably don't need really burly bindings. And for her, the LeMans won't be too flexy. If she's the right size, get those and some F2 or raichle intecs. A little flex in the system will make her experience a lot nicer.
Mike T
Yep, Daneille's LeMans boots would be a great choice. My wife wears size W7 shoes and has the same size with plenty of room. (Sorry Fin) - I might recommend something *softer* than Bombers or Cateks in terms of bindings. My wife started on TD2's and she later switched to F2 Carve RS's (among the more forgiving plate bindings) and enjoyed hardbooting much more, and her riding improved as well. I'm fairly sure several other gals on this message board have similar experiences. Not all to be sure, but many.
