nekdut
Sutherland posted about it in the Big Kahuna thread if I remember correctly. The joke was that he should have just gone for the 3m while he was at it.
Gleb
the speed board is a rentiger 219 that sold on ebay for $3,000 i think because it was autographed too. I wish there was a video online. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything near 60 on a board, only on skis for now. here is the post
Blackbird
I have the magazine article where Darren appeared holding that same board.. It's got the record speed scrawled on the top sheet in exactly the same spot.. And it's a 216cm 50 metre sidecut Cocoon ... Where did you see the Renntiger?? i must've missed something somewhere..... it's the same board in the mag as it is in the post here at BOL...... hmmmm were Renntigers around in 96-97??? NateW
The board gets smaller as you go faster that is for sure. Theory of Relativity revealed. That's awesome. I am going to use that on the next person who asks why so long...
