Lexicon of Hardboot and Carving terms

I had been thinking about this over the last few days and kmartshopper touched upon it in a recent thread.

Is there somewhere on the web, or could there be started here as a sticky, a list of hardboot and carving terms along with their definitions?

It seems as though many terms that get bandied about in discussions here mean different things to different people. The example that kmartshopper brought up is "breaking at the waist" and the term that seems to have the most variation in its use to me is "cant".

Does anyone else feel the same way, or am I just missing something obvious?
